Roots Registered Massage Therapy is run by Melina Lake, a Squamish local dedicated to results-driven care. After graduating from Howe Sound Secondary, Melina attended Capilano College and then Simon Fraser University to earn her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology & English. After traveling and working desk jobs, Melina pursued her goal to work with people in a practical setting and graduated from WCCMT’s 3000-hour RMT Program in 2014. Since then, she’s spent more than a decade in busy multidisciplinary clinics in the lower mainland, treating a wide range of orthopaedic concerns.
Melina is thrilled to return to her hometown and bring her practice to this thriving community. You’ll probably run into her at a playground, cafe or meandering through the trails. She’s always happy to chat, especially about gardening, food, travel,
and the best beaches.
